When we agree to work together we will schedule your Initial Assesment and Treatment Planning session which is 90 minutes and $75. At the end of this appointment we will schedule your next session.

All subsequent appointments from the Initial Appointment are typically 50 minutes and cost $50.

Does my child need to be present?

If your child is the person who is the primary client, yes, they will absolutely need to be present during the initial assessment and ongoing appointments.

The exception to this is the consultation. Your child is not required to be a participant of the consultation.

Does a caregiver need to be present at all appointments?

Depending on the age of your child, usually children 6 and under, have a caregiver present during their sessions working on skill building and relational skills as a dyad.

Older children, preteens and teens should have a parent present at the beginning and end of a session to cooridnate upcoming appointments, review outside assignments and to check in with the counselor to ensure continuity of care.

I may also call for family sessions to occur at times during treatment of children. Children do not exist on their own and involving their caregivers and significant people in their lives to join in the process alongside them is important to long term success.
